Effect of Safety Nursing During The Intravenous Infusion of Stimulating Drugs in Neurology Patients
Objective:To explore the application effect of safety nursing during intravenous infusion of stimulant drugs in neurology patients. Methods:A retrospective analysis of 90 patients with irritating drug intravenous infusion admitted to the Department of Neurology of our hospital from April 2021 to December 2022 was divided into control group(n=45)and observation group(n=45)according to different nursing methods. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given safety nursing on the basis of the control group. The incidence of drug extravasation, incidence of adverse reactions, use time of indwelling needle, compliance and pain rate were compared between the two groups. Results:After nursing, the incidence of drug extravasation in the observation group was 11.11%,which was lower than 24.44%in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse transfusion reactions in the observation group was 13.33%,which was lower than 24.44%in the control group(P<0.05).The use time of indwelling needle in the observation group was longer than that in the control group(P<0.05).The compliance rate of the observation group was 89.89%,which was higher than 75.56%of the control group(P<0.05).The pain rate of the observation group was 13.33%,which was lower than 28.89%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Safety nursing for patients with intravenous infusion of stimulant drugs in neurology department can reduce drug extravasation, reduce the incidence of adverse events, and improve patient compliance and nursing satisfaction.
