Investigation and Analysis of Drug Use in 157 Psychiatric Inpatients
Objective:To analyze the drug use of inpatients in psychiatric department in our hospital and to improve the level of rational drug use in psychiatric department.Methods:The medication data of 157 inpatients in the psychiatric department of our hospital on December 28,2022 were statistically analyzed,and the basic situation of the patients,the frequency and daily dose of psychotropic drugs,the auxiliary drugs and the treatment plan of psychotropic drugs were summarized.Results:Among the 157 patients,schizophrenia was the most common(78.34%),the proportion of male(82.17%)was higher than that of female(17.83%),and most of the middle-aged patients between 44 and 59 years old(48.41%).Atypical antipsychotics were used most frequently,of which quetiapine was the highest(56.69%),89 patients(56.69%)were treated with one antipsychotic alone,68 patients(43.31%)were treated with more than two antipsychotics,and olanzapine combined with quetiapine was the most common,and 68 patients(43.31%)were treated with antipsychotics combined with other psychotropic drugs,of which the most were sedative hypnotics and mood stabilizers.Antipyretic,analgesic and cardiovascular drugs are the most commonly used in adjuvant drugs.The daily dose of psychotropic drugs is within the prescribed range.Conclusion:The use of psychotropic drugs in our hospital is basically reasonable,and there are many cases of combined use of antipsychotic drugs.Clinicians should standardize the combined use of antipsychotic drugs,clinical pharmacists should carry out pharmaceutical evaluation and pharmaceutical care in time,and strengthen the prevention and treatment of adverse drug reactions.
