Analysis on Distribution and Risk Factors of Electrocardiogram Critical Value in Psychiatric Patients
Objective:To investigate the distribution and risk factors of electrocardiogram critical value in psychiatric patients. Methods:The occurrence of electrocardiogram critical values in psychiatric patients in a tertiary psychiatric hospital in the past 10 years was retrospectively analyzed, and the distribution of electrocardiogram critical value reports in psychiatric hospitals was summarized.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the risk factors. Results:From January 2014 to October 2023,a total of 867 184 people were admitted to the outpatient department of our hospital, and 13 cases of electrocardiogram critical value were reported, with a reporting rate of 1.49/100 000.A total of 27 839 hospitalized psychiatric patients were admitted. All of them underwent general electrocardiogram examination, and 10 985 patients underwent dynamic electrocardiogram examination.A total of 623 cases of electrocardiogram critical values occurred, with a reporting rate of 2.24%.The male,middle-aged and elderly age groups, psychiatric closed wards, and sinus bradycardia occurred the most, and the reporting time was concentrated at 8-12 o'clock;the top three diseases were organic mental disorders, mental and behavioral disorders caused by alcohol use,and schizophrenia.Logistic regression analysis showed that gender, age, and closed wards were independent risk factors for critical values. Conclusion:Paying attention to and strengthening the management of critical values, timely handling and strengthening doctor-patient communication, and regularly analyzing electrocardiogram critical value data can improve the medical quality and safety of psychiatric hospitals, better serve patients, and ensure the life safety of psychiatric patients.
