Investigation and Analysis on the Prescription of Z-type Drugs in Outpatients of a Psychiatric Hospital
Objective:To analyze the prescriptions of Z-type drugs in the outpatient department of a psychiatric hospital,to find out the risk signals of drug abuse/dependence,and to find out the related factors affecting drug abuse/dependence.Method:A retrospective study was conducted on the population of outpatient prescriptions of Z-type drugs from June 2021 to May 2022.The key points of drug risk signal identification were establish to screen out the suspected abuse/dependence population, and the questionnaire was used to conduct telephone follow-up to determine whether they were drug abuse/dependence,and the abuse/dependence population was analyzed. Results:A total of 551 patients with suspected abuse/dependence were screened, and 30 patients were diagnosed with drug dependence/dependence.Univariate analysis showed that whether experiencing major events, compliance, reasonable family management of drugs, awareness of the risk of dependence on Z-type drugs and follow-up were the influencing factors of drug dependence in such patients(P<0.05).Binary logistic regression analysis showed that not experiencing major events and good medication compliance may be protective factors for Z-type drugs dependence, and unreasonable family management of drugs and non-follow-up may be risk factors for Z-type drugs dependence(P<0.05).Conclusion:There is a certain degree of abuse/dependence of Z-type drugs, and most patients have insufficient understanding of these drugs. It is necessary to further strengthen health education and medication behavior intervention to reduce the abuse/dependence of Z-type drugs.
