Application of Motivational Psychological Intervention Combined with Dietary Guidance in Patients with Acute Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding Treated with Somatostatin Therapy
Objective:To explore the application of motivational psychological intervention combined with dietary guidance in patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding treated with somatostatin. Methods:A retrospective analysis of 87 patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding treated with routine treatment+somatostatin treatment in the hospital from January 2021 to August 2023 was conducted. All patients received dietary guidance.Among them,43 patients who received routine psychological care were included in the control group, and 44 patients who received motivational psychological intervention were included in the observation group. The disease recovery, nutritional status[hemoglobin(HB),plasma albumin(Alb),prealbumin(PAB)levels],negative emotional status[Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)]and compliance were compared between the two groups. Results:After nursing, the hemostasis time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).The HAMA score and HAMD score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of Hb,Alb and PAB in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:During the nursing period of patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding treated with somatostatin, motivational psychological intervention combined with dietary guidance not only helps to improve the patient's nutritional status and alleviate negative emotions, but also enhances patient compliance, achieves hemostasis in a short period of time.
