Analysis of the Effect of AZT+EFV/NVP Drug Treatment Scheme on Preventing Mother-infant Transmission of AIDS
Objective:To explore the effect of AZT+EFV/NVP drug therapy on preventing mother-infant transmission of AIDS(HIV).Methods:A total of 86 pregnant women with AIDS diagnosed and treated by the Zhenping County Center for Disease Control and Prevention,Henan Province, from May 2018 to January 2023 were selected as the study subjects.According to the 1:1 random coin draw method, the patients were divided into the observation group of 43 cases and the traditional group of 43 cases. The observation group was treated with AZT+EFV/NVP medication, while the traditional group was treated with AZT+3TC+LPV/r medication, the HIV positive status of newborns were compared between the two groups. Results:All pregnant women successfully completed delivery, pregnant women and newborns were alive;the HIV positive rate and HIV load of newborns in the observation group were lower than those in the traditional group, and the CD4+T lymphocyte count level was higher than that in the traditional group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions such as rash, dizziness and anemia in the observation group was lower than that in the traditional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:AZT+EFV/NVP drug treatment program can prevent mother-infant transmission of AIDS,improve the CD4+T lymphocyte count, reduce HIV viral load, and reduce the incidence of complications in pregnant women.
