Effect of Glucocorticoid Aerosol Inhalation Combined with Azithromycin Sequential Therapy in the Treatment of Children with Severe MPP
Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of glucocorticoid aerosol inhalation combined with azithromycin sequential therapy in children with severe mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(SMPP).Methods:A total of 70 children with SMPP admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number method, they were divided into single group and combined group, with 35 cases in each group. The single group was treated with azithromycin sequential therapy, and the combined group was treated with glucocorticoid(budesonide)on the basis of the single group. The clinical efficacy, disappearance time of symptoms, lymph factors, inflammatory factors and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the single group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of high fever, cough, dyspnea, lung moist rale and chest X-ray shadow in the combined group was shorter than that in the single group(P<0.05).After 1 week of treatment, the levels of interleukin-6,interleukin-10,C-reactive protein and procalcitonin in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the combined group were lower than those in the single group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The sequential therapy of glucocorticoid combined with azithromycin can effectively improve the therapeutic effect on children with SMPP,relieve the symptoms of the disease, regulate the immune inflammatory response, and have no obvious serious adverse reactions.
