Comparison of the Effects of Taking Thyroid Tablets and Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets During Postoperative Rehabilitation of Patients with Thyroid Nodules
Objective:To investigate the effect of levothyroxine sodium tablets assisted thyroid lobectomy in the treatment of patients with thyroid nodules. Methods:A total of 79 patients with thyroid nodules who were treated in the hospital from February 2020 to January 2023 were randomly divided into combined group(40 patients)and control group(39 patients). All patients were treated with thyroid lobectomy. The control group was treated with thyroid tablets, and the combined group was treated with levothyroxine sodium tablets. The therapeutic effects, maximum diameter of thyroid nodules, maximum cross-sectional area, incidence of adverse reactions and thyroid hormone levels were compared between the two groups. Results:After 3 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the combined group was 97.50%,which was higher than 82.05%of the control group(P<0.05);the maximum diameter and maximum cross-sectional area of thyroid nodules in the combined group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the incidence of good reaction between the combined group and the control group(P>0.05);the levels of serum FT3 and FT4 in the combined group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Levothyroxine sodium tablets assisted thyroid lobectomy in the treatment of thyroid nodules can improve the therapeutic effect and will not increase the incidence of adverse reactions. It can also reduce the maximum diameter and maximum cross-sectional area of thyroid nodules and promote the secretion of serum FT3 and FT4.
