Effect of Acupoint Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Combined with Foot Bath of Traditional Chinese Medicine on Relieving Cancer Pain
Objective:To explore the effect of acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine and foot bath of traditional Chinese medicine on relieving symptoms of patients with cancer pain.Methods:A total of 100 patients with cancer pain admitted to our hospital from January to December 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table method,the patients were divided into control group and observation group,with 50 patients in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the observation group was given acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with foot bath of traditional Chinese medicine on the basis of the control group.The pain status,functional status and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Results:After intervention,the NRS score and BPI score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the KPS score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine combined with foot bath of traditional Chinese medicine can reduce the symptoms of patients with cancer pain,improve the functional status,and the application safety is high.
