The Intervention Effect of Knowledge-attitude-practice Health Education Based on Empowerment Theory on Male Patients with Alcohol Dependence
Objective:To explore the application effect of knowledge-attitude-practice health education based on empowerment theory on the rehabilitation of male patients with alcohol dependence.Methods:A total of 70 male patients with alcohol dependence who were hospitalized in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,with 35 patients in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention,and the experimental group was given knowledge-attitude-practice health education based on empowerment theory on the basis of routine nursing.The scores of General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)and Scale of Social function in Psychosis Inpatients(SSPI)were compared between the two groups before intervention,3 weeks and 6 weeks after intervention.Results:The GSES score,SSPI total score and each dimension score of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group at the end of 3 weeks and 6 weeks of intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Knowledge-attitude-practice health education based on empowerment theory can improve the self-efficacy of male patients with alcohol dependence and effectively improve their social function.
