A Case of Mild Inactive Thyroid Associated Ophthalmopathy Treated with Selenium Yeast
In July 2021,the European Thyroid Society updated its guidelines for the management of Graves ophthalmopathy(GO),which canceled the recommendation of observation and waiting for the treatment of mild thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy,recommended local use of artificial tears or ophthalmic gel,and systemic selenium supplementation for 6 months.We now report a case of oral selenium yeast for mild inactive GO and review the literature.
