Effect of Latanoprost Combined with Brinzolamide in the Treatment of Glaucoma
Objective:To explore the effect of combined treatment with latanoprost and brinzolamide on visual acuity, intraocular pressure and adverse reactions in patients with glaucoma. Methods:A total of 116 patients with glaucoma admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected and divided into control group(n=58,brinzolamide treatment)and combined group(n=58,brinzolamide+latanoprost treatment)by digital random table method. The clinical effect, visual acuity, intraocular pressure and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the combined group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the visual acuity of the combined group was higher than that of the control group, and the intraocular pressure was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combined regimen(brinzolamide+latanoprost)can improve the curative effect of glaucoma patients, improve the visual acuity and intraocular pressure level of patients, and the combined medication will not significantly improve the adverse reactions, and the safety is good.
