Effect of Yongquan Acupoint Application Assisted with Jiawei Sini Powder on Relieving Intractable Hiccup Caused by Chemotherapy in Patients with Lung Cancer
Objective:To explore the effect of Yongquan acupoint application combined with Jiawei Sini powder on relieving intractable hiccup caused by chemotherapy in patients with lung cancer.Methods:A total of 80 patients with intractable hiccup caused by chemotherapy for lung cancer admitted to our hospital from September 2022 to August 2023 were randomly divided into control group(n=40)and study group(n=40).The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,and the study group was treated with Yongquan acupoint application combined with Jiawei Sini powder on this basis.The efficacy,hiccup symptoms and quality of life(GQOLI-74 score)were compared between the two groups.Results:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 92.50%,which was higher than 75.00%in the control group(P<0.05).The score of hiccup symptoms in the study group was lower than that in the control group at 3 days and 7 days after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of each dimension of GQOLI-74 in the two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in the study group were higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of Yongquan acupoint application combined with Jiawei Sini powder in the treatment of intractable hiccup caused by chemotherapy of lung cancer is definite,which can significantly improve the symptoms and quality of life of patients.
