Intervention Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Hot Pack Combined with Acupoint Application on Postoperative Pain in Patients with Mixed Hemorrhoids
Objective:To analyze the intervention effect of traditional Chinese medicine hot pack combined with acupoint application on postoperative pain in patients with mixed hemorrhoids.Methods:A total of 186 patients with mixed hemorrhoids who underwent surgical treatment in the hospital from March 2020 to June 2023 were divided into two groups by random number table method,with 93 patients in each group.Both groups were given targeted treatment of wound cleaning,detumescence,anti-infection and analgesia after operation.The control group was treated with potassium permanganate solution fumigation and washing.The observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine hot package combined with acupoint application on the basis of the control group.The effect of postoperative pain intervention was compared between the two groups.Results:The VAS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group at 3 d and 5 d after intervention(P<0.05).The dosage of analgesics in the observation group was less than that in the control group,and the postoperative urination time and defecation time were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The maximum urinary flow rate(Qmax)and detrusor pressure of the two groups at 7 days after intervention were higher than those before intervention,and the residual urine volume(RV)and first urinary bladder volume(FDV)were lower than those before intervention,and the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of urinary retention in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine hot pack combined with acupoint application can reduce postoperative pain in patients with mixed hemorrhoids,reduce the dosage of analgesic drugs,shorten postoperative urination time and defecation time,improve urodynamics,and reduce postoperative urinary retention.
