Clinical Pharmacist Practice of Improving the Rational Application of Ketorolac Tromethamine Injection
Objective:To explore the effect of clinical pharmacist intervention on reducing the unreasonable phenomenon in the use of ketorolac tromethamine injection.Methods:Through the prescription review system of Binzhou Central Hospital,300 electronic medical records of inpatients using ketorolac tromethamine injection from January to June 2020(before clinical pharmacist intervention)and from July 2020 to June 2021(after clinical pharmacist intervention)were collected and included in the control group and the observation group respectively.The rationality of drug application in the two groups was evaluated,and the occurrence of adverse reactions during drug use in the two groups was observed.Results:①The unreasonable rate of indications,the unreasonable rate of usage and dosage,the unreasonable rate of course of treatment and the unreasonable rate of combined medication in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);②The correct rate of indications+usage and dosage+course of treatment+combined medication in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);③The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:During the clinical use of ketorolac tromethamine injection,the participation of clinical pharmacists in drug management can reduce the occurrence of irrational drug use,reduce the incidence of adverse reactions,and improve the safety of drug use,which is worthy of clinical application.
