Intervention Effect of Therapeutic Communication Based on Humanistic Care During The Treatment of Inhaled Glucocorticoids in Patients with COPD
Objective:To explore the intervention effect of therapeutic communication based on humanistic care during inhaled corticosteroids(ICS)treatment in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:A total of 78 COPD patients admitted to the hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were randomly divided into a control group(n=39)and an observation group(n=39)using a random number table method. The control group received therapeutic communication and routine nursing, while the observation group received therapeutic communication based on humanistic care, with continuous intervention from admission to discharge. The negative emotional status[Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)],nursing compliance,self-care ability level[Exercise of Self-Care Agency(ESCA)]and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:After intervention, the HAMA and HAMD scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).During the nursing period, the overall nursing compliance of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the total nursing compliance rate was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The ESCA score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the overall satisfaction rate of nursing was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of therapeutic communication based on humanistic care during ICS treatment for COPD patients can effectively regulate the negative emotions of patients, improve their compliance, improve their self-care ability, and be more satisfied with the implementation of nursing.
