Effect of Nicardipine Combined with Methyldopa in the Treatment of Hypertensive Disorder Complicating Pregnancy
Objective:To study the efficacy of nicardipine combined with methyldopa in patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy. Methods:A total of 122 patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 61 patients in each group. The control group was treated with nicardipine alone, and the observation group was treated with methyldopa. The pregnancy outcomes, clinical symptoms, blood pressure indexes, serum ghrelin, vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),endothelin-1(ET-1)and homocysteine(Hcy)levels were compared between the two groups. Results:The incidences of postpartum hemorrhage, fetal distress, cesarean section, neonatal asphyxia and premature delivery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The diastolic blood pressure, resistance index,S/D ratio and systolic blood pressure in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of proteinuria, nausea, elevated blood pressure, dizziness and edema in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The serum ghrelin level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the levels of VEGF,ET-1 and Hcy were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, nicardipine combined with methyldopa can improve pregnancy outcomes and clinical symptoms, reduce blood pressure and VEGF,ET-1 and Hcy levels, and increase serum ghrelin, which is conducive to the recovery of the patient's body.
