Effect of Iron Polysaccharide Complex Capsules in the Treatment of Patients with Iron Deficiency Anemia in Middle and Late Pregnancy
Objective:To investigate the effect of iron polysaccharide complex capsule on patients with iron deficiency anemia in middle and late pregnancy. Methods:From October 2021 to June 2022,108 cases of puerpera with intermediate to late stage iron deficiency anemia who chose to build a file and deliver were selected as study subjects, and the patients were divided into experimental group(n=54)and control group(n=54)according to the principle of 1:1 coin toss. The control group was treated with iron succinate solution and the experimental group was treated with iron polysaccharide complex capsules, and the clinical efficacy, blood biochemical indexes and adverse pregnancy outcomes of the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment, the mean corpuscular volume and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration in the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and those in the experimental group were higher than the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of cesarean section, premature rupture of membranes, placenta previa and amniotic fluid in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of neonatal asphyxia, neonatal bilirubin encephalopathy, postpartum hemorrhage and puerperal infection in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Iron polysaccharide complex capsules are effective in treating patients with iron deficiency anemia in mid to late pregnancy, increasing the mean red blood cell volume and mean red blood cell hemoglobin concentration of patients, reducing the incidence of cesarean delivery, premature rupture of membranes, placenta praevia, and amniotic fluid, and improving the prognosis of mothers and infants.
