Effect of Self-made Tongluo Yiwei Decoction Assisted XELOX Chemotherapy in the Treatment of Patients with Gastric Cancer
Objective:To observe the effect of self-made Tongluo Yiwei decoction combined with XELOX chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with gastric cancer.Methods:A total of 82 patients with gastric cancer who were treated in our hospital from May 2021 to August 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 41 patients in each group.The control group was treated with XELOX chemotherapy and western medicine adjuvant therapy such as liver protection and stomach protection.On this basis,the observation group was treated with self-made Tongluo Yiwei Decoction under the guidance of combined meridian theory.The TCM syndrome score,immune function,tumor marker level,gastrointestinal hormone changes and the incidence of toxic and side effects were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the levels of CEA,CA199 and CA724 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);the levels of CD4+,CD4+/CD8+and NK cells in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and CD8+was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05);the level of gastrointestinal hormones in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the vasoactive intestinal peptide was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of leukocyte abnormality,neurotoxicity and thrombocytopenia between the two groups(P>0.05),while the incidence of nausea and vomiting in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Self-made Tongluo Yiwei decoction combined with XELOX chemotherapy is effective in the treatment of gastric cancer patients,which can effectively improve clinical symptoms,reduce gastrointestinal adverse reactions,reduce the level of tumor markers,enhance immune function,improve gastrointestinal hormone levels,and do not increase the risk of nervous system,blood and other toxic side reactions.
