Analysis of Blood Drug Concentration Test Results of 153 Patients with Benzodiazepine Overdose in a Hospital
Objective:To analyze the blood concentration test results of patients with previous clinical diagnosis of benzodiazepine overdose in a hospital in Yunnan Province from 2019 to 2021.Methods:The blood concentration detection results of patients diagnosed with benzodiazepine overdose from 2019 to 2021 were retrospectively analyzed and discussed from the aspects of gender difference,age distribution,different drug detection and so on.Results:The elderly patients over 64 years old were the main group of esazolam overdose,accounting for 76.5%.The excess of esazolam showed a decreasing trend year by year in recent three years(P<0.05).Adolescents under 18 years old were the main group of clonazepam overdose.More women than men were clinically diagnosed with benzodiazepine overdose.More boys had clonazepam overdose than girls.Alprazolam overdose was detected in more women than men.Conclusion:People under 64 years old are the main group of patients diagnosed with benzodiazepine overdose and poisoning,and there are more female patients than male patients.Among the patients with estazolam overdose,the elderly patients over 64 years old accounted for the highest proportion,and the group under 18 years old was the main group with clonazepam overdose,with more boys than girls.
