Comparison of the Effects of Different Doses of Iohexol in the Diagnosis of Multi-slice Spiral CT in Patients with Pulmonary Embolism
Objective:To explore the value of low-dose iohexol in the diagnosis of multi-slice spiral CT in patients with pulmonary embolism.Methods:Sixty-eight patients with pulmonary embolism admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected and diagnosed by multi-slice spiral CT.All patients were grouped by lottery, including the reference group(34 patients)and the study group(34 patients). The patients in the reference group were treated with high-dose iohexol, that was,the iodine concentration was 350 mgI/mL,and the patients in the study group were treated with low-dose iohexol, that was,the iodine concentration was 300 mgI/mL.The reconstructed image quality, venous contamination score, arterial CT value,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR)and renal function indexes were compared between the two groups. Results:The venous pollution score of the study group was lower than that of the reference group(P<0.05);There was no difference in image quality scores between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in CT values of main pulmonary artery, pulmonary lobe artery, right pulmonary artery and left pulmonary artery between the two groups(P>0.05).The SNR and CNR of the study group were lower than those of the reference group(P<0.05).The Cre,BUA,BUN and MA of the study group at 48 h after examination were lower than those of the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of low-dose iohexol in the diagnosis of multi-slice spiral CT in patients with pulmonary embolism can reduce venous pollution, reduce renal injury, and do not affect the image quality, which is worthy of clinical application.
