Effect of Continuous Nursing Based on Protection Motivation Theory During Drug Treatment in Patients with Rheumatic Pain
Objective:To study the application effect of continuous nursing intervention based on protection motivation theory(PMT)in patients with rheumatic pain. Methods:A total of 96 patients with rheumatic pain admitted to our hospital from July 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects.According to the order of admission, they were divided into routine group(48 patients)and study group(48 patients). The routine group received routine nursing mode and discharge guidance, and the study group adopted PMT-based continuous nursing intervention on the basis of the former. The scores of self-management ability[adult health self-management ability scale(AHSMSRS)],pain degree[numerical rating scale(NRS)],sleep quality[Pittsburgh sleep quality assessment scale(PSQI)],emotional changes[self-rating depression scale(SDS),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)]and quality of life[the MOS item short fromhealth survey(SF-36)]were compared between the two groups. Results:At 1 month and 3 months after discharge, the scores of AHSMSRS,PSQI and SF-36 in the study group were higher than those in the conventional group, and the scores of NRS,SDS and SAS were lower than those in the conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Continuous nursing based on PMT can improve the self-management ability of patients with rheumatic pain, adjust the emotional state of patients, reduce their pain,so as to improve the sleep quality and the quality of life of patients.
