Discussion about active monitoring mode of the Class Ⅱ Psychotropic Drug Dependence in A Psychiatric Hospital
Objective:To discuss about active monitoring mode of class Ⅱ psychotropic drug dependence in the outpatient department in a psychiatric hospital,in order to improve monitoring efficiency. Methods:Extracted the prescription information of outpatient's second class psychotropic drugs from 2020 to 2022.Screening for risk signals in prescriptions based on two indicators:"overdose"and"combined use of psychotropic drugs".Then established a database of suspected drug dependence populations, and Used standardized interview questionnaires for drug dependence assessment.According to the assessment results, the suspicious population was divided into dependent and non dependent groups, and the risk factors for drug dependence are analyzed. Results:A total of 5728 suspicious prescriptions were found during screening, referring 568 suspected drug dependent patients,68 of them were rated as drug dependent. The results of uni-variate analysis and multivariate logistic regression between the two groups showed that The combination of psychotropic substances, advanced age,and long-term use of drugs are independent risk factors leading to drug dependence, and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The active monitoring method for drug dependence established in this study using"overdose"and"combined use of psychotropic drugs"as screening tools is feasible. This model is worth further research and promotion.
