Effect of Serum Hypersensitive CRP on the Therapeutic Effect of SNRI Drugs in Patients with Depression
Objective:To explore the effect of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(CRP)on the therapeutic effect of NE/5-HT reuptake inhibitors(SNRI)in patients with depression. Methods:The clinical data of 64 patients with depression in our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The serum high-sensitivity CRP level was detected and compared with the serum high-sensitivity CRP level of 40 healthy people in the same period. The diagnostic value of high-sensitivity CRP in patients with depression was analyzed. All patients were treated with SNRI drugs.According to the level of serum high-sensitivity CRP before treatment, patients with depression were divided into low CRP group(<5 mg/L)and high CRP group(≥5 mg/L).The clinical data and therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Kaplan-Meier survival analysis and Cox proportional hazard regression model were used to analyze the effect of serum high-sensitivity CRP level on SNRI drug treatment. Results:The level of serum high-sensitivity CRP in the depression group was higher than that in the healthy group before treatment(P<0.05).There was no difference in serum hypersensitive CRP level between the depression group and the healthy group after treatment(P>0.05).There were significant differences in gender, age,BMI index, course of disease and degree of illness between the high CRP group and the low CRP group in patients with depression(P<0.05).The medication time of the depression high CRP group was higher than that of the low CRP group, and the effective rate of treatment was lower than that of the low CRP group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the effective rate between the high CRP group and the low CRP group in the treatment of SNRI drugs(χ2=4.837,P=0.038,df=1).Cox proportional hazard regression model analysis showed that after controlling for confounding factors, the effective rate of SNRI drugs in the low CRP group was higher than that in the high CRP group(P<0.043,HR=1.291,95%CI:1.001-1.623),and the course of disease was an independent predictor of treatment effect. Conclusion:The level of serum hypersensitive CRP in patients with depression is increased, and the level of hypersensitive CRP will affect the therapeutic effect of SNRI drugs.
