Effect of Risperidone Combined with Chlorpromazine in the Treatment of Schizophrenia
Objective:To analyze the effect of risperidone combined with chlorpromazine on thyroid hormone level and blood lipid index in patients with schizophrenia. Methods:According to the random number table method,82 patients with schizophrenia admitted to our hospital from March 2023 to April 2024 were divided into observation group (risperidone combined with chlorpromazine treatment,42 patients) and control group ( risperidone treatment,40 patients). The clinical efficacy, blood lipid level and thyroid hormone level were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group (92.86%) was higher than that of the control group (65.00%) (P<0.05). The levels of low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG) and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the levels of high density lipoprotein (HDL-C),triiodothyronine (T3),free triiodothyronine (FT3) and free thyroxine (FT4) were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Risperidone combined with chlorpromazine has a good effect in the treatment of patients with schizophrenia, which can effectively improve their thyroid hormone levels and blood lipid indicators.
