Effect of Pregabalin in the Treatment of Patients with Central Pain After Stroke
Objective:To analyze the effect of pregabalin in the treatment of patients with central pain after stroke. Methods:A total of 80 patients with post-stroke central pain admitted to our hospital from March 2021 to July 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with olanzapine, and the observation group was treated with pregabalin. The neurotransmitter indexes[5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT),dopamine (DA),norepinephrine (NE)],NRS score,PSQI score,HAMD score and HAMA score were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment,5-HT,DA and NE in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P<0.05). The NRS pain score,PSQI score,HAMD score and HAMA score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Pregabalin can further improve the neurotransmitters in patients with post-stroke central pain, reduce the degree of pain, and is conducive to the improvement of sleep quality, which is worthy of clinical application.
