Study on the Influencing Factors of Adverse Reactions Caused by Hypoglycemic Drugs
Objective:To explore the influencing factors of adverse reactions caused by hypoglycemic drugs. Methods:The clinical data of 259 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were treated with hypoglycemic drugs. According to whether adverse reactions occurred during treatment, they were divided into occurrence group and non-occurrence group. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the influencing factors of adverse reactions caused by hypoglycemic drugs. Results:Among the 259 patients,76 patients had adverse reactions, accounting for 29.34%. And the adverse reactions involving multiple systems-organs,the most common for metabolic diseases, metabolic diseases and hypoglycemic coma as the main clinical manifestations. Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in age, drinking history, gastrointestinal diseases and medication compliance between the occurrence group and the non-occurrence group (P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age, drinking history, accompanied gastrointestinal diseases and medication compliance were the influencing factors of adverse reactions caused by hypoglycemic drugs (OR>1,P<0.05). Conclusion:Adverse reactions caused by hypoglycemic drugs are related to a variety of factors, including age, drinking history, concomitant gastrointestinal diseases and medication compliance. Targeted interventions can be taken clinically to improve the prognosis of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
