Effect of Siebens Field Management Model During Drug Treatment in Patients with Ulcerative Colitis
Objective:To explore the effect of Siebens domain management model (SDMM) on self-management efficacy and quality of life in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) during drug treatment. Methods:A total of 100 patients with ulcerative colitis admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects. According to the application time of SDMM,they were divided into control group (June 2022-December 2022,50 patients) and observation group (January 2023-June 2023,50 patients). During the drug treatment,the control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given SDMM. The self-management efficacy,quality of life and medication compliance of the two groups were compared. Results:The scores of self-management efficacy and quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The medication compliance of the observation group was 88.00％,which was higher than 70.00％ of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:SDMM can improve the medication compliance,self-management efficacy and quality of life of UC patients.
