Clinical Efficacy of Ambroxol Hydrochloride Combined with Acetylcysteine Aerosol Inhalation in the Treatment of Elderly Patients with Chronic Bronchitis
Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy of ambroxol hydrochloride combined with acetylcysteine aerosol inhalation in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic bronchitis. Methods:A total of 122 elderly patients with chronic bronchitis admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to May 2023 were selected. The patients were divided into reference group and experimental group by random number table method, with 61 patients in each group. The reference group was treated with ambroxol hydrochloride, and the experimental group was combined with acetylcysteine aerosol inhalation. The lung function, immune function, serum inflammatory factor levels, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the FEV1,FEV1/FVC,PEF,IgG,IgM and IgA in the experimental group were higher than those in the reference group, and the levels of CRP,PCT and IL-4 were lower than those in the reference group (P<0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the experimental group was 95.08%,which was higher than 80.33% in the reference group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the experimental group and the reference group (P>0.05). Conclusion:For elderly patients with chronic bronchitis, ambroxol hydrochloride combined with acetylcysteine aerosol inhalation therapy is more conducive to improving lung function, improving immune function, reducing the body's inflammatory response, and has definite efficacy and high safety.
