Effect of Yishen Bugu Decoction Combined with Alfacalcidol in the Treatment of Patients with Osteoporotic Fracture After Vertebroplasty
Objective:To investigate the efficacy of Yishen Bugu Decoction combined with alfacalcidol in the treatment of lumbar osteoporotic fracture after vertebroplasty and its effect on serum osteocalcin (BGP),collagen cross-linked aminopeptide terminal peptide (NTX) and collagen cross-linked C-terminal peptide (CTX). Methods:From January 2020 to December 2021,80 patients with lumbar osteoporotic fracture treated by vertebroplasty in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group and experimental group,with 40 patients in each group. The control group was treated with alfacalcidol after operation,and the experimental group was treated with Yishen Bugu Decoction on the basis of the control group. The VAS score of low back pain,fracture healing time,JOA score,bone mineral density (BMD),serum BGP,CTX,NTX levels and postoperative recurrence of fractures were compared between the two groups. Results:The VAS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups at 4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks (P>0.05). The fracture healing time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in JOA score between the two groups (P>0.05). The BMD of lumbar spine L2-4 and femoral neck in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The serum BGP level in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the levels of NTX and CTX between the two groups (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the rate of recurrent fracture between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:The treatment of Yishen Bugu Decoction combined with alfacalcidol in patients with lumbar osteoporotic fracture after vertebroplasty is beneficial to relieve early pain,promote fracture healing,improve bone turnover markers and increase bone mineral density.
