Application Effect of Comfort Nursing for Children with Diarrhea During the Probiotics Treatment in Emergency Observation Room
Objective:To explore the application effect of comfort nursing for children with diarrhea during the probiotics treatment in emergency observation room. Methods:A total of 190 children with diarrhea admitted to our hospital from June to November 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into study group and control group by random number table method,with 95 children in each group. Both groups were treated with probiotics. The study group was given comfortable nursing intervention,and the control group was given routine nursing intervention. The disappearance time of diarrhea-related symptoms,treatment compliance,pain degree,comfort degree,complications and family members' satisfaction with nursing were compared between the two groups. Results:The disappearance time of diarrhea,fever and abdominal pain in the study group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). The treatment compliance of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Before discharge,the VAS score of the study group was lower than that of the control group,and the Kolcabal simplified comfort status scale score was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). During the treatment,the incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The satisfaction of family members in the study group was 94.74％,which was higher than 84.21％ in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:During the probiotic treatment of children with diarrhea in the emergency observation room,comfortable nursing can shorten the time of diarrhea-related symptoms of children,improve the treatment compliance,reduce the degree of abdominal pain,improve the comfort,and the satisfaction of children's families is high.
