Review on the Origin,Chemical Composition,Pharmacological Effects and Modern Application of Star Anise
In this paper,the origin,chemical composition,pharmacological action and modern application of Star Anise are reviewed.Through the research of materia medica,the application history of Star Anise was traced.The chemical composition of Star Anise was analyzed in detail,and the production status of Star Anise was discussed,including the main production areas,the production process of spring and autumn fruit and Star Anise Oil,the market classification of dried fruits,and the influence of drying methods on quality.The pharmacological effects of Star Anise in anti-inflammatory,antiviral,antibacterial,cardiovascular and cere-brovascular protection,tumor inhibition,analgesia and leukocyte elevation were further revealed,and the wide application of Star Anise in modern food,medicine and other fields was summarized.The purpose of this study is to provide a reference for the in-depth research,development and utilization of Star Anise,and to promote its wide application and development in medicine and health,food and other aspects.
