Effect of adjuvant treatment with Aspergillus oryzae on gastric emptance and digestive function in pa-tients with functional dyspepsia
Objective To explore the effects of adjuvant therapy with Aspergillus oryzae on gastric empty-ing rate and digestive function in patients with functional dyspepsia.Methods A total of 106 patients with func-tional dyspepsia(FD)admitted to Xin'an International Hospital were enrolled from January 2019 and January 2022.According to treatment method,they were divided into a conventional treatment group(53 cases)and a com-bined treatment group(53 cases).The conventional treatment group was treated with mosapride citrate tablets,while the combined treatment group was additionally treated with Aspergillus oryzae pancreatin tablets for 2 months based on the conventional treatment.The clinical efficacy,dyspeptic symptom severity index(DSSI)score,pepsinogen(PG)Ⅰ,PG Ⅱ,gastrin-17(G-17),gastric emptying rate and incidence of adverse reactions were com-pared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the combined treatment group was higher than that in conventional treatment group,and the difference was statis-tically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,levels of serum biochemical indexes(PG Ⅰ,PG Ⅱ,G-17)were in-creased in both groups,which were higher in combined treatment group than conventional treatment group(P＜0.05).After treatment,DSSI scale scores in the combined treatment group was lower than those in the conventional treatment group(P＜0.05).The levels of serum PG Ⅰ,PG Ⅱ,and G-17 in the combined treatment group were high-er than those in the conventional treatment group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in gastric emptying rate between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treat-ment,the gastric emptying rate in the combined treatment group was higher than that in the conventional treat-ment group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,there was no significant dif-ference in the occurrence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The adjuvant thera-py with Aspergillus oryzae can effectively improve clinical symptoms and increase gastric emptying rate in FD pa-tients.
