Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy(HDP)are common in pregnancy and are a major cause of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality.White coat hypertensive disease(WCH)in pregnancy is a specific type of HDP.Due to variation in prevalence,a proportion of WCH in pregnancy may be incorrectly diagnosed as chronic hypertensive disease, which reveals the need for a definitive diagnosis. And more and more studies have found that white coat hypertensive disease is not a benign change, and it has been shown to increase the risk of preeclampsia, preterm labor, and the development of babies younger than the gestational age. There are fewer do-mestic studies on WCH in pregnancy, and this article provides a review of the current state of research on white coat hypertension in pregnancy.
