Multi-center study on the use of Chinese herbal formula granules
Objective To analyze the usage of Chinese herbal formula granules in 10 medical institutions in Shanxi Province, and provide reference for clinical rational application and development. Methods The pre-scriptions of traditional Chinese herbal formula granules issued by the top 10 medical institutions in Shanxi Province from January 2021 to June 2023 were collected, and Excel 2013 was used to statistically analyze the patient's age distribution, prescription proportion, prescription amount, and unreasonable medication situations.A total of 300 patients diagnosed with epigastric pain during the same period and treated with Banxia Xiexin Tang were randomly selected as the study subjects.According to different dosage forms,150 patients treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces were as the control group, and 150 patients treated with Chinese herbal formula granules were as the study group. The medication compliance and the incidence of adverse reac-tions after medication were compared between the two groups. Results The majority of the patients using Chi-nese herbal formula granules were aged between 21 and 50 years old, accounting for 85.42%.The prescription amount was mostly between 301-500 yuan, accounting for 49.76%.Among the 300 selected patients with epigas-tric pain, the study group had significantly higher medication adherence and lower adverse reactions after medica-tion compared to the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Chinese medicine formula granules have clear advantages in clinical applications, but their relatively high cost requires the exploration of further reasonable solutions to better promote the development of Chinese medicine formula granules.
