Clinical efficacy of Yinqiao Powder combined with oseltamivir phosphate in the treatment of influenza A and its impact on lymphocyte subsets
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of Yinqiao powder combined with oseltamivir phos-phate in the treatment of influenza A,and the impact of treatment on lymphocyte subsets.Methods A total of 98 children with influenza A admitted to the First People's Hospital of Ruzhou in Henan Province from May 2022 to February 2023 were divided into a control group(49 cases)and an experimental group(49 cases)depending on treatment method.The control group received oseltamivir phosphate treatment,while the experimental group re-ceived oseltamivir phosphate and Yinqiao Powder treatment,with a treatment period of 5 days.The im-provement time of clinical symptoms(time for virus to turn negative,time for body temperature recovery,time for fatigue re-lief,time for pharyngeal pain disappearance)and adverse reactions,tumor necrosis factor before treat-ment and after 3 and 5 days of treatment for both groups-α(TNF-α),Compare the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-8(IL-8),cough,headache,fatigue scores,CD4+,CD8 percentage,and CD4+/CD8+ratio before and after 5 days of treatment.Results Compared with the control group,the time of virus reversal,temper-ature recovery time,fatigue relief time,and throat loss time were shortened(P＜0.05);TNF-α,IL-6,CRP,IL-8 levels decreased compared with before treatment after treatment 3 and 5 d;cough,headache,fatigue score and CD8+percentage decreased after 5 d,CD4+percentage,CD4+/CD8+ratio,and compared with control group(P＜0.05).During the treatment period,there was 1 case of dizziness,diarrhea,rash,nausea and vomiting in the con-trol group,1 case of dizziness and rash in the experimental group,and 2 cases of diarrhea,nausea and vomiting in the experimental group.There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(8％vs 12％,x2=0.445,P＞0.05).Conclusion The use of Yinqiao Powder combined with oseltamivir phosphate in the treatment of influenza A can shorten the period of improvement in clinical symptoms,alleviate inflammatory reactions,improve clinical symptoms in children,and improve their immune function,pro-moting their recovery,and with reliable safety.
