Clinical application of mycophenolate mofetil combined with glucocorticoids in IgA nephropathy
Objective To investigate the effects of mycophenolate mofetil combined with lowdose gluco-corticoids on immunoglobulin and renal function in patients with IgA nephropathy.Methods A total of 130 pa-tients admitted to Anyang District Hospital in Puyang City from January 2020 to June 2022 were enrolled and di-vided into a control group and an observation group according to their medication methods.The control group was treated with prednisone,while the observation group was treated with mycophenolate mofetil combined with gluco-corticoids.The immunoglobulin levels,renal function,and relevant serum indicators were compared between the two groups after treatment.Results The differences in immunoglobulin,renal function,and serum related indica-tors between the two groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of mycophenolate mofetil and glucocorticoids has a significant effect on improving immunoglobulin and renal function related indica-tors in patients,and which is worthy of clinical application and recommendation.
