Analysis of 1 919 cases of adverse drug reactions in a hospital
Objective To study the characteristics and patterns of the occurrence of adverse drug reac-tions(ADR)in Zoucheng People's Hospital,to excavate the risk signals, and to provide reference for the clinical use of drugs. Methods We collected 1 919 ADR reports monitored in Zoucheng People's Hospital from 2021 to 2023,and used retrospective analysis to statistically analyze the types of ADR,occupational and departmental dis-tribution of the reporters, gender and age of the patients, routes of administration, types of drugs, organs and/or systems involved, major drugs causing serious ADR and their clinical manifestations, and ADR regression. Results Among the 1 919 ADR cases, most of them were"general"with 1 203 cases.ADR were mainly reported by clini-cians.There were more female patients than male patients, and the most ADR occurred in people over 60 years of age.The route of administration was mainly by intravenous drip. The number of ADR triggered by anti-infective drugs was the highest among the types of medicines.ADR involved mainly the digestive system in terms of organs and/or systems, with a total of 1 064 cases. The main drugs that caused serious ADR included oxaliplatin,cefoper-azone sodium sulbactam sodium, and moxifloxacin. And 1 862 patients were reported to be better in the 1919 cases of ADR.Conclusion The occurrence of ADR is related to various factors such as patient's age, route of administration and drug class, etc.Clinical attention should be paid to the monitoring of ADR to improve the rational use of drugs.
