Therapeutic effect of magnesium sulfate combined with nifedipine on patients with pregnancy induced hy-pertension and its influence on arterial blood flow indexes and maternal and infant outcomes
Objective To investigate the combined application of magnesium sulfate and nifedipine in patients with pregnancy induced hypertension,and analyze the influence on arterial blood flow indexes and maternal and infant outcomes.Methods A retrospective study was conducted.A total of 128 patients with pregnancy induced hypertension treated in the hospital from August 2019 to March 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into the observation group(n=64)and the control group(n=64)according to different treatment methods.All patients underwent conventional treatment.On this basis,the control group was intravenously infused with magnesium sulfate.Based on the treatment of the control group,the observation group was treated with nifedipine controlled-release tablets.Arterial blood flow and maternal and infant outcomes were compared between the two groups.Results Therapeutic effects in the two groups were significantly different(93.8%vs 79.7%)(P<0.05).After treatment,systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),uric acid(UA),matrix metalloproteinase 9(MMP9),endothelin-1(ET-1),pulsatility index(PI),resistance index(RI),peak systolic velocity(PSV),24 h urine protein quantity,urinary kininogen-1,and urine cadherin in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The level of nitric oxide(NO)was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Neonates of the two groups were in similar condition(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of magnesium sulfate and nifedipine can effectively control the blood pressure level of patients with pregnancy induced hypertension,improve patients'uterine artery blood flow and vascular endothelial function,reduce kidney damage,and lower the incidence of adverse pregnancy.
