Clinical efficacy of tanospironone and amitriptyline in patients with postpartum depression
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of tandospirone and amitriptyline in postpartum depression patients.Methods A total of 98 postpartum depression patients admitted to Wenzhou Seventh People's Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were divided into a control group and a study group according to treatment,with 49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with amitriptyline,and the study group was given tandospirone on the basis of the control group.The Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),Edinburgh Post-partum Depression Scale(EPDS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT),norepinephrine(NE),dopamine(DA),y-aminobutyric acid(GABA),follicle stimulat-ing hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)and estradiol(E2)were compared between two groups;The treatment effects of two groups were compared and the adverse reactions between the two groups were caculated.Results After treatment,compared with the control group,the study group showed a more significant decrease in HAMD,EPDS,PSQI,SDS scores,FSH,LH levels(t=3.011,P=0.003;t=2.966,P=0.004;t=6.145,P＜0.01;t=3.595,P＜0.01;t=6.001,P＜0.01;t=5.377,P＜0.01;t=8.900,P＜0.01).The levels of 5-HT,NE,DA,GABA,and E2 were in-creased more significantly(t=10.320,P＜0.01;t=2.588,P=0.001;t=8.669,P＜0.01;t=4.842,P=0.001;t=4.301,P=0.001).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(x2=6.806,P=0.009);There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(x2=1.333,P=0.248).Conclusion The treatment of postpartum depression patients with tandospirone combined with amitriptyline can effectively improve the degree of depression and sleep quality,with significant therapeutic effects and high safety
