Effects of esketamine on the comfort of childbirth and the safety of mother and child in obese scarred uterus of second or third child born by cesarean section
Objective To investigate the effect of esketamine on the maternal comfort and the mother-infant safety in obese scarred uterus of second or third child. Methods A total of 80 pregnant women were selected as the study objects who gave birth to a second child or a third child with obese scarred uterus during caesarean section under lumber anesthesia. They were randomly divided into a normal saline group and an esketamine group by random number table method, with 40 pregnant women in each group, and were intravenously injected normal saline and 0.15 mg/kg esketamine before skin resection, respectively. The intraoperative pain score, tractive reaction grade and maternal-infant adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results During the fetus extraction and abdominal examinations, the VAS score and the incidence of traction reaction in esketamine group were significantly lower than those in normal saline group(P<0.05).The incidence of chills, nausea and vomiting in esketamine group were significantly lower than those in normal saline group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in pH value,PO2 value,PCO2 value,Apgar score at 1 min and Apgar score at 5 min of birth between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Intravenous injection of 0.15 mg/kg esketamine before incision can significantly relieve the pain and traction reaction and reduce the adverse reactions of pregnant women who give birth to a second child or a third child by cesarean section, which is conducive to improving the comfort of childbirth and ensuring the safety of childbirth.
