Quality differences evaluation of Kangjun Xiaoyan Capsules based on multi-component quantitative analy-sis combined with PCA,OPLS-DA and EW-TOPSIS analysis
Objective To evaluate multi-component quality differences in Kangjun Xiaoyan capsules us-ing PCA,OPLS-DA,and entropy-weighted TOPSIS(EW-TOPSIS)models.Methods HPLC was applied to detem-ing the contents of swertiamain, sweroside, chlorogenic acid,3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, timosaponin BⅡ,timo-saponin A Ⅲ,protostemonine, tuberostemonine, baicalin, wogonoside, baicalein and wogonin in 15 batches of Kangjun Xiaoyan Capsules.PCA,OPLS-DA,and EW-TOPSIS models were used to analyze the quality differences of 15 batches of Kangjun Xiaoyan Capsules, screen out the characteristic components that cause the differences, and sort the quality accordingly. Results The 12 components showed good linear relationships within their own ranges(r>0.999),and the average recovery rate(n=9)was 96.90%-100.23%(RSD<2.0%).Two principal compo-nents were selected based on chemometrics, with a cumulative contribution rate of variance of 95.172%.OPLS-DA showed that baicalin, chlorogenic acid, timosaponin B Ⅱ and tuberostemonine had significant effects on the quality of Kangjun Xiaoyan Capsules. The EW-TOPSIS analysis results showed that the Ci value was between 0.082 7-0.849 5,and there was a significant difference in the quality of 15 batches of Kangjun Xiaoyan Capsules samples. Conclusion The established method can be used for comprehensive evaluation of the quality of Kangjun Xiaoyan Capsules.
