Clinical application of sevoflurane inhalation under a new type of mask in children undergoing general anesthesia surgery
Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of sevoflurane inhalation anesthesia under a new type of inhalation anesthesia mask to improve anesthesia in patients undergoing general anesthesia with spon-taneous ventilation. Methods A total of 92 children with strabismus who underwent surgical treatment in the Jiaxing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to March 2022 were divided into an obser-vation group and a control group by treatment. The observation group was anesthetized with a new type of mask inhalation and placed with a laryngeal mask, while the control group was anesthetized with a regular mask inhalation and placed with a laryngeal mask. Both groups received mechanical ventilation and general anesthesia to explore the effec-tiveness and safety of anesthesia. Results ① Hemodynamic indexes and respiratory conditions:there was no significant difference in hemodynamic indicators(HR,MAP)between the observation group and the control group at each time point(P>0.05);Moreover,there was no significant difference in hemodynamic indicators(HR、MAP)between the two groups at each time point(P>0.05);There was no significant difference in respiratory status(SpO2,PETCO2 and PIP)between the two groups at different time(P>0.05).②Placement:the induction time was short in both groups, and the laryngeal mask was successfully inserted.Between them, the observation group had a signifi-cantly higher success rate of one-time insertion than the control group(P<0.05).③ Recovery after operation:Two groups of spontaneous breathing recovery time and waking time comparison were no significant difference(P>0.05);However,the time of orientation recovery and the time of modified Aldrete score reaching 9 points in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was significant(P<0.05).④The incidence of adverse re-actions to anes-thesia:the incidence of adverse re-actions was 9%in the observation group and 20%in the control group.Compared with the control group, the inci-dence of adverse reactions in the observation group was signifi-cantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusions The use of sevoflurane inhalation general anesthesia under a new type of in-halation anesthesia mask has a good effect in oph-thalmic anesthesia surgery for children with strabismus. The one-time successful insertion rate of the laryngeal mask after anesthesia induction is high, and the incidence of anesthesia adverse reactions is significantly reduced. It is an effective and safe anesthesia breathing tool.
