Evaluation index system for clinical pharmacist competence based on Delphi method
Objective To construct the competency index system of clinical pharmacists,and provide ref-erence for the training and evaluation of clinical pharmacists.Methods A total of 27 consultants familiar with clinical pharmacy were selected from hospitals and medical colleges by purposive sampling method.The compe-tency evaluation index system of clinical pharmacists was determined using literature research and Delphi method.And the the weight of each index was calculated by analytic hierarchy process.Results The evaluation index system of clinical pharmacist post competency was determined,including 3 first-level indicators,9 second-level indicators and 41 third-level indicators.The weights of the first-level indicators were ranked from large to small as ability(0.527 8),knowledge(0.332 5),and literacy(0.139 6).Among the secondary indicators,the weight of phar-maceutical professional knowledge(0.266 0),clinical pharmaceutical service ability(0.211 9),and pharmacist ba-sic service ability(0.151 6)ranked the top three weights.Among the three-level indicators,the top three combined weights were basic theoretical knowledge of pharmacy(0.081 5),prescription review ability(0.075 8),and pre-scription review ability(0.075 8).Conclusion Constructing a competency evaluation index system for clinical pharmacists to provide an objective basis for capacity-building,capacity assessment and performance appraisal of clinical pharmacists.
