Effects of Paishi Granules after holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy in patients with Qi stagna-tion and blood stasis type ureteral stones
Objective To explore the stone discharge effect of Paishi Granules after Holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy in patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis ureteral calculi.Methods From October 2021 to October 2023,a total of 120 patients were selected to conduct prospective studies who had Qi stagnation and blood stasis ureteral calculi and were treated with Holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy in our hospital.According to a method of random number table,they were divided into a treatment group(60 cases orally medicated with Paishi Granules)and a control group(60 cases treated with postoperative conventional treatment).Compare the difference in effect,the relief of frequent urination and urgency,pain(VAS score),Tradi-tional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Symptom Score,inflammatory factors,and adverse effects after 4 weeks'treatment between the two groups.Results Rank-sum test of hierarchical data showed that the efficacy,total effective rate,and relief of urinary frequency and urgency after 4 weeks of treatment were better in the treatment group than those in the control group(Z=2.394,x2=6.536,9.730,P＜0.05).Repeated measures showed statistically significant differences in the time-point,between-group,and interaction comparisons of VAS scores and TCM symptom scores between the two groups(F=490.447/3 885.589,14.219/6.847,26.748/22.413,P＜0.05).VAS scores and TCM symptom scores were lower in both groups after I week's treatment compared with those before treatment(t=17.944/33.813,10.406/31.121,P＜0.05),and the scores in the treatment group were lower than those the control group(t=7.972/6.769,P＜0.05).Compared with pre-treatment,WBC,CRP,TNF-a,and IL-6 were lower in both groups after 4 weeks'treatment(t=27.004/12.904,12.917/6.571,24.855/12.028,48.111/28.561,P＜0.05).The dif-ferences of WBC,CRP,and IL-6 in the treatment group were smaller than that in the control group(t=21.183/11.089,39.499/4.521,10.165/11.225,13.936/16.861,P＜0.05).No significant adverse reactions and side effects occurred during the treatment in both groups.Conclusion The application of Paishi Granules after Holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy has good effect in patients with Qi stagnation and blood stasis type ureteral stones,which can effectively discharge stones,relieve urinary frequency and urgency,reduce pain,regulate in-flammation,and have good safety.
