Effects of modified Shaoyao Gancao Decoction combined with extended release nifedipine tablets in the treatment of headache in uremic dialysis patients
Objective To investigate the effect of modified Shaoyao Gancao decoction combined with ex-tended release nifedipine tablets in the treatment of headache in uremic dialysis patients.Methods A total of 76 puremic dialysis patients with hypertension in Pinglu County People's Hospital from May 2022 to February 2024 were divided into a control group(n=38)and an observation group(n=38).Both groups underwent regular hemodialysis.The control group was treated with extended release nifedipine tablets,while the observation group was treated with modified Shaoyao Gancao decoction combined with extended release nifedipine tablets.Measured the blood pressure of all patients before and after treatment,recorded the severity and frequency of headaches in the past month,evaluated clinical efficacy,assessed residual renal function,and evaluated the safety.Results After treatment,the systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)in the observation group were(139±4)mmHg and(78±5)mmHg,respectively,while those in the control group were(143±6)mmHg and(82±6)mmHg,respectively.There were statistically significant differences between the two groups(t=2.983,3.000,P＜0.05).After treatment,the headache severity and frequency in the observation group were(1.7±0.5)points and(2.5±0.7)times,respectively,while those in the control group were(2.2±0.9)points and(4.9±1.6)times,respec-tively.There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(t=2.508,8.141,P＜0.05).The total effective rate was 89％in the observation group and 66％in the control group,with a statistically significant dif-ference between the two groups(x2=6.138,P＜0.05).After treatment,the serum creatinine(Scr)level in the obser-vation group was(451±39)μmol/L,while that in the control group was(466±37)μmol/L,showing a statistically significant difference between the two groups(t=4.089,P＜0.05).Conclusions Modified Shaoyao Gancao Decoc-tion has a good regulatory effect on blood pressure levels in uremic dialysis patients.When combined with extend-ed release nifedipine tablets,it can have a synergistic effect,effectively alleviate headache symptoms,and have no obvious adverse reactions.
