Logistic regression analysis of intrauterine adhesion in patients with endometrial polyps after hysteroscop-ic resection
Objective To explore influencing factors of intrauterine adhesion(IUA)in patients with en-dometrial polyps(EP)after hysteroscopic resection. Methods A total of 82 patients with EP admitted to Luoyang New District People's Hospital were enrolled between January 2019 and December 2020.All underwent hystero-scopic resection during non-menstrual period.According to presence or absence of postoperative IUA,they were divided into IUA group(n=19)and non-IUA group(n=63).The general clinical data such as age, body mass index(BMI)and disease course were collected. The risk factors of IUA after hysteroscopic resection were analyzed by Logistic regression analysis. Results IUA after hysteroscopic resection was related to gravidity ≥ twice, operation time ≥20 min, intraoperative blood loss ≥ 15 ml,contraceptive ring, curettage history and diabetes mellitus(P<0.05).Operation time ≥20 min(OR=2.784,P<0.05),contraceptive ring(OR=2.697,P<0.05)and curettage history(OR=2.550,P<0.05)were all independent risk factors of IUA after hysteroscopic resection. Conclusion The oc-currence of intrauterine adhesion(IUA)after hysteroscopic resection of endometrial polyps(EP)is affected by many factors.Clinicians should pay more attention to patients with operation time ≥ 20 minutes, intrauterine de-vice,and history of curettage.
