Research Progress in Biological Functions of Partial Ubiquitin-specific Proteases
The family of ubiquitin-specific proteases(USPs)is the most abundant member of the deubiquitinating enzyme family, different and is mainly present in skeletal muscle, heart, liver, brain, pancreas and other tissues, with differential expression among different species.Current studies have shown that the USPs has a great role in organismal life processes, although the mechanism by which the USPs specifically selects ubiquitin chains for hydrolysis is not clear.USPs have important clinical significances in the regulation of tumorigenesis and metastasis, immune regulation, inflammatory response, energy metabolism and viral infection. In this paper,we review reserch progress on biological functions of partial USPs in recent years, expecting to provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of related diseases.
