Application Study of Elastic Intramedullary Nail Fixation Technology Combined with Percutaneous Puncture and Artificial Bone Injection in the Treatment of Simple Bone Cysts
Objective:To investigate the effect of elastic intramedullary nail fixation technology combined with percutaneous puncture and artificial bone injection in the treatment of simple bone cysts.Method:A total of 64 children with simple bone cyst diagnosed by pathology examination from July 2015 to July 2020 in the Department of Pediatric of Pingxiang People's Hospital were included as the research objects. The children were divided into the combined group and the control group by random number table method. The control group was treated with percutaneous puncture artificial bone injection + external fixation + Methylprednisolone Sodium Succinate, and on this basis, the combined group was treated with elastic intramedullary nail fixation technology. All children should be followed up for 6 months. The clinical efficacy, musculoskeletal tumor society(MSTS)scores, inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)],surgical time, intraoperative bleeding volume, and length of hospital stay between two groups were compared;the occurrence of adverse reactions during hospitalization in two groups were recorded.Result:During the study period, one case was lost in the combined group due to incomplete follow-up,one case was lost due to switching to other treatment plans, and two cases were lost in the control group due to incomplete follow-up.30 cases in the combination group and 30 cases in the control group. The clinical total effective rate of the combined group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).At 1 month and 3 months after surgery, the MSTS scores of both groups increased compared to those before surgery, and the MSTS scores of the combined group were higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).On the 7th day after surgery IL-6 and TNF-α in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in intraoperative bleeding volume between the two groups(P>0.05).The hospitalization time of the combined group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, and the surgical time was significantly longer than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Both groups of children did not experience any adverse reactions. Conclusion:The combination of elastic intramedullary nail fixation technology and percutaneous puncture artificial bone injection can improve the limb function of children with simple bone cyst, reduce the level of inflammatory factors, and shorten the hospital stay.
