Effect of Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Sensory Integration Training on Promoting Rehabilitation of Children with Psychomotor Retardation
Objective:To analyze the promoting effect of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)combined with sensory integration training on the rehabilitation of children with psychomotor retardation.Method:A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted,110 children with psychomotor retardation who were treated in Department of Neurological Rehabilitation for Children of Maternity&Child Care Center of Xinyu from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the study subjects, they were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with sensory integration training, while the observation group was treated with rTMS combined with sensory integration training, both groups were treated for 6 months. The gross motor function, developmental quotient of the two groups were compared before and after the intervention.Result:After 6 months of intervention, the scores of lying and turning, sitting, crawling and kneeling, standing, walking and jumping in the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 6 months of intervention, the developmental quotient of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and that of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:rTMS combined with sensory integration training can effectively promote the improvement of gross motor function, and improve their developmental quotient.
